Fall Play: See How They Run

Katherine Thumm

The Ramsey High School Fall play is always a unique show for the Drama Club. This year’s Fall play was “See How They Run” by Philip King. It is a farce about mistaken identities that includes a fair amount of running through doors at inconvenient times. Thanks to the amazing cast, the dialog and physical humor kept the audience laughing from start to finish!

The Fall Play consisted of a more selective cast as opposed to the Spring Musical where more drama club members typically perform. The cast consisted of a total of eleven people; five seniors, one junior, four sophomores and one freshman. Everyone put in an equal effort regardless of how big or small their part was. With just two short months of rehearsing, the process was very easy-going thanks to our director, Mr. Gipple, and fully dedicated students putting their all into the show.

Drama Club allows us to collaborate with a wide range of people, form lifelong friendships, to practice adaptability, and to learn to build on daily work to put on a great show! We have begun preparation of our Spring Musical, “Thoroughly Modern Millie” (as seen below), to be performed on March 21-23, 2019. We look forward to sharing our hard work and to entertaining you. We hope you will come see our show!
