Ryan Esdale

We are thrilled to announce that after planning since June 2018, our 1st annual Student/Staff dodgeball game was a huge success after Mother Nature forced us to cancel it twice! Our community service efforts combined multiple dress down days, a bake sale, and the actual game. On Friday, December 14 immediately after the Winter Pep Rally, we had 4 Student teams battle 4 Staff teams for the championship title, trophy, and bragging rights. Despite Mr. Esdale’s best efforts the students were victorious and The Squabblers (pictured left) own the title for now!

This project helped us learn a lot about resilience and being flexible. Without these skills this event would not have been the success it was. Overall, it was a great learning experience and we cannot wait to do it again next year! Together, our efforts at the High School raised $1,336, and we are pleased to announce that we secured a donation from an outside business that agreed to match our earnings. Thus, bringing our RHS total funds raised to $2,672. We will add this money to the banked donations raised in our events held at each of the Elementary and Middle schools. Enthusiastically and proudly, in early 2019, we will be donating the total amount to Save the Children!

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO SUPPORTED US!
