Spice Girls Are Spicing It Up

Whenever anyone thinks of ’90s girls bands, they automatically think of the Spice Girls. The girl group was made up of Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), Melanie Brown (Scary Spice), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice), and Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice). From their start, the band proved to have tremendous success, all the way up to their departure when Geri left the band. Shortly after, each went on their own for a year, some pursuing solo careers and others working on family. Despite their split, the Spice Girls did not hesitate to organize a 2019 reunion tour.

Currently, the Spice Girls have three Wembley Stadium shows, three shows at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium, and three shows in Edinburgh, Bristol, and Coventry. However, this was not enough dates for fans. As a result, the Spice Girls have announced another tour date in Wales. The generosity of the Spice Girls does not stop there. In addition to releasing more tour dates, the group has created charity merchandise. Specifically, the merchandise consists of a t-shirt, a grey hoodie, and a white sweater that boasts the strap line “#IWANNABEASPICEGIRL.” The money raised will be donated towards charities focused on issues faced by women. Therefore, the reunion of the spice girls will not only satisfy the demands of fans, but also help charities.
